The Telegraph says Scotland Yard is to question Downing Street officials about Morgan McSweeney’s story concerning his phone allegedly being stolen in the street. That theft meant messages which could have helped the investigation into the Mandelson scandal disappeared. There’s a very strange smell about all this.
