My goodness Holly allowed so much chatter from Munster today..almost every decision was challenged. Know her to be much more forthright and stern on players but today it was a free for all.

@brentsw3 @Brendennel He didn’t come back after HIA - it should have been a red (also it was 2 not 7) - other way round you would have been screaming for it to be given and say there was some sort of conspiracy if you don’t get it Me, those decisions go against away teams sometimes…better team won

@CraigVee @jim_demps Can you explain how Nortje legally counters that ruck? He’s on his knees. How does he go lower? The only option is not engaging…which goes against the way rugby is played….that there should always be a fair contest? How does he contest without being blown? Rugby has a problem!

@jim_demps There’s zero mitigation. In cases like this the bunker review becomes an excuse. That’s a straight red. It’s very simple. The duty of care is on Nortje (I don’t think he’s a dirty player!) to enter the ruck without intent. He didn’t do that 🟥

I know I’m biased but that’s a careless, reckless clear-out that was always illegal & should have been a straight red. Nortje is on his knees entering the ruck Ref abdicated the decision to the bunker & the TMO bottled the review Barron unsurprisingly failed his HIA after this

A much, much better performance from Munster overall. Disappointing to lose it — unforced errors the big issue there — but Crowley and Casey drove so much of what we did well. Two points, a bit of pride back in the jersey at altitude, and a platform to work with. #SUAF

Watching Glasgow vs Leinster #URC highlights and the Rieko Ioane intercept on the 17th min. He used to be rapid. What’s happened? He didn’t even try! Passed it to someone in a worse position. Try scored, but How did he lose all his pace? Hasn’t had major injuries that we know of?

There is too much evidence to show that any ball contact could potentially result in a try for your team, so why not attempt it. Make it a knock scrum in the case it isn’t recollected and see t how match’s will open up.

@WorldRugby The state of the game: what you should have discussed: 1. Goal line dropouts. Defending team gets too much benefit for negative play. 2. Yellow card for assumed deliberate knock ons. These days it’s either yellow or try. Nothing in between. We have a problem! Fix it!

@rugby_ap I like Seb, but he's had shockers every time he's run out at 13. I think they're looking to blood youngsters like Seb for eventual outgoers like KLA, Mapimps, etc. Maybe not now, but eventually. KLA been a bit card and injury prone recently.

I can’t help but feel that the Boks might consider Seb de Klerk more at 13 than wing. We have so much depth on the wings and he’s not ahead of KLA, Kolbe, Moodie or Hooker in that position (given their command of the skies). But he can be a difference maker at 13 - if he can fit the defensive pattern. Like Jesse he’s very quick and quite physical. Dunno just think it’s a position we’re a bit light in and wouldn’t be shocked to see him get a run.
