I went to the estate park to sit and think of what business I can go into to change my life forever, nothing came to my mind. I just couldn't think of anything. This is why I don't answer the question "I have X money, what business can I do?" when I get them in my anon messages. I cannot tell anyone what business to do. All the businesses I have started, the idea did not come from me sitting down to think of doing business, but from random discussions with no intent of business. Jarus Homes idea came to my head from an afternoon chat with my corper tenant. Just two men - a young civil engineer and his accountant landlord - sitting on the bench outside the house, partially shirtless, and catching up on life in general. Jarus Travels idea came from me interviewing a young woman as my non-exclusive personal travel consultant. Africa Property Hub idea came after my company, Jarus Homes, agreed a fee of N100m (& paid N60m) to someone for brokering a real estate deal. Just connecting two parties and he earned N100m. I got home and think, I must also start a property brokerage company. That led to me founding APH. None of them came from me sitting down with the intent of thinking of what business to do. They came from random events with no prior business formation intention. And this leads me to the question: Is there anyone that really sat down to think about what business to do, got an answer and successfully implemented it? I have tried several times, but it never clicked. My business ideas have come from unintended random events.

During the @MagentaTV World Cup broadcast, Jürgen Klopp and Thomas Müller put together their ideal Germany lineup for Sunday and suggested starting Deniz Undav behind the striker instead of Jamal Musiala. The idea was that Musiala would be subbed on later against tired legs when spaces open up
Lothar Matthäus is clearly against this idea, telling @BILD: "I was very surprised when I saw that Jürgen Klopp and Thomas Müller advised playing Deniz Undav instead of Jamal Musiala in the opening match. I accept their opinion, but I don't want to let it stand. I feel it lacks sensitivity. Jürgen Klopp, of all people, should know better. To have a successful World Cup, Germany needs the quality of Musiala. That's why he needs to be given trust and playing time. Klopp's comments aren't exactly making Nagelsmann's job any easier. I'd like to see what Klopp would have said if a pundit had advised him to bench one of his regular starters before an important Champions League match. Such interference isn't well received, especially among fellow coaches. We all know that Musiala isn't yet at his best. But instead of creating unrest around him, we should be supporting him. Instead, we see something like this. I also found it somewhat odd how Thomas Müller was talking about Jamal Musiala, his former teammate with whom he has recently been playing. I'm a TV pundit myself and I know that criticism is part of the job. But not a single minute of the World Cup has been played yet, and already this kind of discussion is being started. And especially now, when Musiala showed improving form in the second half of the game against the USA."

Before that conversation, I had never seriously considered homeownership or even understood how mortgages worked.
He broke down what we could afford, pointed us to the right websites, and encouraged us to look beyond the expensive cities. A few months later, we bought our first home. 🔑🎉
About a year later, we were transferred out of the Netherlands and sold the house. The equity from that sale eventually helped fund the down payment for our first home in the U.S. 🇺🇸🏠
One random conversation changed our financial trajectory. 📈

@Wizarab10 I see people disagreeing with this. I have played both 11 vs 11 and 5 aside. I prefer playing 11 vs 11. 5 aside is the most intense because you're always running. If you are not running, your team is at a disadvantage. It is also the best for fitness. Regular ballers know this

He isn't interested in comparing the U.S. minimum wage with Nigeria's minimum wage, or their healthcare system with ours, level of security, constant power supply against an epileptic power. He also isn't talking about fully funded scholarships with money $1200 stipend to students, or other basic public infrastructure.
