@Naija_PR Romans 8:38-39 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord

Somehow i believe the rider because this was so perfectly scooped. Unless the rider has scoops with him as a professional food thief.
Chef Emem of Abuja 👩‍🍳🍽@chef_emem

Frame 1 was what I sent. Frame 2 was what my client received. The food didn’t spill, it was scooped out. @boltapp rider cried and swore with his life that he didn’t touch it, he even went back to my client’s house but she didn’t go back outside to meet him. What do I do? 😔

In 2019, my brother was working for a businesswoman in Idumota, Lagos. That day, she accused him of stealing her gold ring and raised an alarm. Before anything could be verified, a mob gathered and beat him to death. Later, she found the ring with her own daughter. Just like that… my brother was gone over something he didn’t do. Till today, I still don’t know how to process it. The pain sits heavy in my chest. The anger comes and goes, but it never really leaves. Sometimes I think about how he didn’t even get the chance to defend himself, how everything ended so quickly… and it breaks me all over again. If I’m being honest, a part of me died with him that day.

The day a Nigerian father in the UK called the police on his own daughter, people thought he had lost his mind but he hadn’t. He had simply understood the gamebefore it destroyed his home.😎 She is 14. Back in Nigeria? Calm. Respectful. No issues. Even when they first relocated to the UK, she was still that same good girl. Then suddenly something shifted. “Shut up,” she told her mother one day, when her mum corrected her. The mother froze. Maybe it was a bad mood. But it didn’t stop there. If her father spoke, she would stand chest to chest with him, eyes locked, almost daring him. Like she was waiting. Waiting for something. At first, they thought it was teenage phase. But this one didn’t feel normal. It felt calculated. One day, the father asked her to do something simple. She refused. She stood right in front of him and said, boldly, “I’m not doing it.” And then she waited. That moment… that silence… that eye contact… She was hoping he would react. You know that Nigerian reflex. That “I will show you I’m your father” reaction. But her dad did something nobody expected. He picked up his phone and called the police. The mother panicked. “Are you serious?!” He said calmly, “If I touch her, they will carry me. Let them carry her instead.” When the police arrived, he didn’t shout. He didn’t explain too much. He just said, “Please take her.” In the UK, once a child starts acting out like that, they often süsp3ct m£nt@l health issues. So the officers said they would take her for evaluation. The moment she heard “mental health” Her confidence disappeared. Immediately. She started begging. Crying.“Please, mummy… please, daddy…” But het father didn’t move. “Take her,” he repeated. And they did. That night, the house was quiet but heavy. The next day, social services showed up. They said, “She’s been crying non-stop. She wants to talk.” The father said, “Not yet.” On the second day, they said “She hasn’t eaten. She keeps begging.” Finally, he agreed to see her. The moment she stepped back into that house, She didn’t argue. She didn’t stand tall. She went straight to the floor. Kneeing. Crying. Begging. That was when the truth came out. Her friends in school had told her. Provoke your parents, they told her. Make them hit you. Report them. The government will take you away, give you a house, money, freedom, iphone with free WiFi. In her mind, she was about to upgrade her life. 😀 New phone. Freedom. Soft life. But she didn’t know one thing Not every parent will play the role you scripted for them especially Nigerians. Her father didn’t react. He redirected. And the script, flipped on her. -Uncle recounts his UK brother’s experience with his daughter. Posted as seen!

Life will never be balanced. I got to the interchange to board a bus to Ibadan. The normal price was ₦1000 or ₦1500, but due to the fuel price increase, they said it was ₦2500. The lady with me and I used our legedis Benz to trek a little. The other corper and I trekked for about a minute, then I saw a trailer. The driver was ready to collect ₦1500, but an old woman was persuading him to take ₦1000 from her. I told the driver I would pay ₦1500. He said enter. The lady and I entered, and two other men followed, but the woman couldn’t. She kept pleading. Later the driver said if she didn’t mind staying in the container for her ₦1000. He told his apprentice to open the container at the back of the trailer. She quickly rushed inside that hot, dark and lonely space. I started feeling guilty. I should have also said I had only ₦1000 maybe the driver would have considered. I felt like paying the extra ₦500 for her, but myself no guide, everywhere is tight for a Naija corper. I later concluded that life will never be balanced. If I had enough, I wouldn’t have trekked or boarded inside the trailer; I would have entered a normal bus.

“It is only in Nigeria that a man wants to lead you to kill you. I say I don’t want your leadership, you say you must want it. In Nigeria political space, leadership is by force. I don’t want you to lead me, no, I must lead you, don’t be my leader, I must be your leader. Okay, let me select my leader, I must snatch your ballot box. The last two elections in Nigeria has proven one thing, PVC is useless. This thing we calling democracy in Nigeria is useless, we must return it. democracy we have in Nigeria is not democracy. It is a duplicate. What we have is a government of the Agbero, by the Agbero and for the Agbero . Agberocracy” - Pastor Sulaiman
