Hey guys. I know I promised a "Masks of Steel" update soon, but, it will take awhile longer. I've been quite depressed again, partly from the job search, partly from some very nasty spats with my family. And being unable to write consistently makes me feel guilty, which in turn makes me more depressed in a vicious cycle. So, I'm gonna take it easy for a few days. I'll try to make lore posts consistently every Monday from now on. Call it "Masks of Steel Monday" (simply cause I feel that has a nice ring to it, lol) Sorry to anyone who was eagerly waiting for an update to my main project, especially after I promised it.

I hate that they've leaned into the idea that Dooku was just fully evil (thus making Doc Brown look crazy). The (mostly Outer Rim) Separatists had legitimate grievances. Their physical distance from the Core meant they were marginalized and denied representation in the Senate.

You didn't have to liberate the subjugated people of Iran, or install the Shah. Or even engineer a situation favorable to that outcome. No one had that on their electoral wishlist in 2024. But you also didn't have to tell them to march, just to leave them to be butchered by the tens of thousands. Iran have had internet for exactly one day in the last 3 months, so none of us know to what extent the Iranian people protested or marched or acted against the regime during that blackout. But if they didn't... can you really blame them? This is the bullshit they deal with when they do march. MOST Iranians hate their government. But NO Iranians trust America. Nor should they.
