Wemby makes his case for MVP: "My first one would be that defense is 50% of the game and that it is undervalued so far in the MVP race. I believe I'm the most impactful player defensively in the league. Second argument would be that we almost swept OKC in the season, and we dominated them three times with their real team. My third argument would be that offense impact is not just points"

BREAKING: LeBron James is now the most winningest player in NBA history. GOAT.

Bet, fuck it Luka Doncic defensive highlight reel this season Yall see a below average defender here?

This may come as a shock, but Luka winning POTM in January doesn’t change the fact that he’s playing WAYYY better basketball now than he was in January.

Imagine averaging 27.9 PPG, 12.9 RPG, and 10.8 APG on 67.4% TS — and finishing 4th in the MVP race. Jokić is on pace to become the first player in NBA HISTORY to lead the league in rebounds AND assists. He’s actually averaging more PTS, REB, and AST than he did in his last MVP season. This is one of the craziest MVP races in history.

Skip Bayless says the Lakers are the Dallas Cowboys of the NBA: “Everything they do gets ridiculously exaggerated. It’s like way over here, and then it’s way over here. They’re the greatest or they’re the worst night after night, after night just like unfortunately my Cowboys mostly down then up.” (Via @GilsArenaShow)

“Is Wemby’s impact that much greater where it overcomes the fact that Luka has played 500 more minutes?” - @getnickwright Should Luka Doncic win NBA MVP?

Jokic averages more rebounds & assists on better efficiency from the field, line, & three than Luka.... while also being a better defender & handling the ball for much less time. So forget Luka winning the MVP, I'm confused as to why he's even ahead of Jokic in this race.
