I've said plenty about the Clippers/Kawhi/Aspiration cap circumvention story over the last year, but I'll just remind everyone of Article XIII, Section 2, paragraph (d) of the NBA's current collective bargaining agreement: "A violation of Section 2(a) or 2(b) above may be proven by direct or circumstantial evidence, including, but not limited to, evidence that a Player Contract or any term or provision thereof cannot rationally be explained in the absence of conduct violative of Section 2(a) or 2(b)." If Adam Silver and the law firm investigating this matter haven't come up with that rational explanation yet, I have a real hard time believing it exists.
