Have you heard, and more importantly, have you considered unintended consequences. If your pure interest is reducing deaths, just ban all vehicles. A programme of road safety and tackling some incredibly bad and aggressive driving would be better. Don't punish us all.

We support 20mph outside schools, but the lazy blanket approach means you're applying the restriction on roads where there has never been an accident. Intelligence led decision making is harder work, but it brings the right results. Lazy politics is not what I voted for.

My goodness, is that the degree of arrogance you have in seeking to deny the strength of feeling from the people who voted you in. Your ridiculous and ludicrous blanket approach to road safety is being vilified because of the consequences it has for the environment and business.

@BBCWales Banning all vehicles will save even more lives, but it's not reasonable, the knock on effects are enormous and people's health and well-being will be an adverse impact not properly considered.
