🦸‍♀️1 superpower every writer needs to master… Listening! Think about it, the best writers are the ones who can tap into the emotions of their readers. And the key to doing that is by listening. Here’s what happens when you improve your listening skills 👇

The difference between the expert and the student is their willingness to learn. The student thinks they're halfway to mastery. The expert knows mastery is a never-ending journey.

I hit $1062 in the last month. Got my first 4 Clients for my 4 Hour Solopreneur Lifestyle Offer. My original target was hitting $2500 MRR until 31st March, 2024. But I'm super excited to hit my goal and even more next month. 5 Clients at $499 = $2495 Key Lesson: Always raise prices as you get more results and demand for your Offer. Stop increasing the amount of time you invest. Rather: • Make your Offer irresistible. • Increase your Prices. • Help better Clients. Repeat. Stop chasing $...s. Start Creating Freedom for a life worth living every day.

The #1 reason your competitors are ahead of you… They’re willing to put themselves out there. NO ONE has ever thought “Gee I wish I didn’t make a name for myself.” Build your personal brand or watch your competitors build theirs.

@AmandaMGoetz Very true… when you pretend you’re fine it creates misalignment because you’re not effectively reacting to the issues. It’s the universes way of forcing you to face the shit. I hope you’re on your way to overcoming whatever you’re faced with.

Definitely having a rough few weeks. I’m never going to pretend that my life doesn’t have friction or headwinds because that’s where the disconnect comes from. I feel out of alignment if I’m showing up online and pretend I’m totally ok when I’m not. And it’s creates misalignment for you. It’s hard to watch others succeed when you are struggling and think “why does this keep happening to me?”. It happens to everyone. But most are too proud to talk about it. So here’s what I’m doing during this harder season: 1. I’m honoring my feelings. It’s ok to not be ok sometimes. Allow space to feel. 2. I’m seeking grounding. More time in nature and moving my body to get out of my head and back into my body. 3. Focusing on sleep, nutrition and the things I can control. 4. Finding space to process. Scheduling more time with my therapist. When you’ve experienced trauma - it never really goes away. So much of social media is about winning but guess what? everyone falls. The true winning happens when you fall and allow yourself to heal and then get back up and keep climbing.

I have two because they complement one another -- one feels like the intention & the other feels like LIVING TF out of it! Indulge & savor. 2024 is already a sexy mofo. "Allow" also feels so f*cking good & I can feel it oozing of you rn 🥵❤️‍🔥

What's everyone's Word of The Year?! I've been contemplating mine since December... Waiting for the full-body zing that tells me what's mine. Well, it sucker-punched me last week. It's been primary intention #1 since... & holy hell the results are already resulting 🥵🔥

Want to write stories that people can't scroll past? 3 secrets for powerful storytelling. 1) Start in the middle Starting your story in the middle creates a sense of intrigue. For example: "I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw..." 2) Get to the point Don't beat around the bush. Get to the point and do it quickly. For example: "I want to tell you about a time when I failed miserably..." 3) Use sensory language Sensory language helps your readers connect with and visualize your story. For example: "I heard the roar of the crowd as I crossed the finish line." So, start in the middle, get to the point, and use sensory language to make your stories come to life. Try it in your next post!

Stop treating social media like a popularity contest. Here, let me help you: You are not the most popular and never will be. Cool. Now, how will you show up knowing this? I bet it's 100x more authentic than before. You're welcome.

Was diagnosed with celiacs 4 months ago after a colonoscopy confirmed what many doctors denied throughout my life. Cut out all gluten for 4 months. Last week I ate a croissant to see how my body would respond (I had been eating gluten for 38 years) I’ve been in intense stomach pain and inflammation since and look 4 months pregnant. Going to take this gluten free life very seriously from now on.

The fastest growing personal brands are those who allocate a % of their revenue to growth initiatives. Just like companies should allocate a % of their revenue to sales and marketing, personal brands should also. My biggest regret is not spending more $$$ on personal brand growth sooner.
