Question for parents (my wife wants me to ask…) Our 27mo boy got into baseball—I just got him a tee, a wiffle bat/ball, and I showed him The Sandlot like two weeks ago—and his level of obsession is blowing our minds. Not exaggerating when I say that he wants to play baseball or talk baseball or watch baseball instructionals or watch The Sandlot every hour of every day for the past two weeks. So basically we’re just curious if this is common (I’m guessing so, but it seems crazy!) and also this is not actually predictive right? It does not predict aptitude or even continued interest into adolescence, I’m guessing? Toddlers are nuts!
