KKR had always been very poor in team construction and retention since 2018 . 2021 Season they were lucky to reach finals on those kabaddi Sharjah pitches . They got great buy in Iyer in 2022 but undermined his role in 2024 IPL winning a lot. Deserved 20 cr in retention.
