I don't think the money is dark. I seem to remember the donations being made public. In fact, people have given grief to some of the companies that donated.
I have my own qualms about how it looks. However, without going subterranean, I don't see how they get something of that capacity in the WH complex without it being that large.

Dawg, Evers drew gerrymandered maps as part of the Clarke case in 2024. The case settled because, frankly, the Supreme Court made clear what it was about to do. I'm all for fair maps but maps drawn to force a legislature that matches the vote in statewide elections aren't "fair." They are conforming to a "standard" that our Constitution does not adopt and so are themselves a gerrymander. They seek to do rig a partisan outcome that our framers. This isn't hard to understand if you want to.

Spare me the complaints about Virginia's new districts. This is my new district in Texas. Unlike VA, I wasn't able to vote on it.
The blue area is a very diverse part of the Dallas suburbs that was carved out & threw in with a bunch of rural (red) voters as far as 180 miles away!
