Verse events for UMG released a few days ago so I finally built the PIN modal of my dreams using Scenegraph x UMG.
Built from the ground up (I've always wanted to say that😄) to be fully featured (can be used for gameplay security pin entry, or secret code item/effect granter or any other situation where a pin may be required).
It's highly modular and one can easily change the look just by duplicating the base widget and authoring a new design (visuals or animation) without needing to write any more code, and the API supports a bank of codes, validating used codes, having each call require a specific code etc.
Honestly, I'm having fun building highly reusable (high quality? {I hope the quality is decent at least}) gameplay systems, and Scenegraph is AMAZING as always.

PS: This initial design is HEAVILY inspired by #Fortnite Parental Controls PIN modal...heck you could even say I flat out ripped it (I'm sorry Fortnite 🙏) #UEFN @FNCreate

Figured out how to do Mesh Painting that validates, works in game, and works on the default Fortnite cliff meshes with a custom material! It works for ISMs as well, without changing any of the other meshes!

Epic has responded to concerns around Sponsored Row abuse.
Director of Product for the Fortnite Creator Ecosystem, confirmed they’re seeing the issue and are actively addressing it.
• The island involved has been removed from the Sponsored Row
• Epic identified how the exploit was happening
• New safeguards and stronger enforcement measures are being rolled out
