In terms of civil and legal rights, they were equal to—and in some cases ahead of—western women in the 1970’s. Yet, it wasn’t enough. They wanted revolution. They had been seduced by the false promises. They wanted the Islamist figure who swore to free the oppressed from the oppressor and bring about heaven on earth, a utopia in Iran. We all know how this story ends. Lynchings, eye gauging, amputations, and mass graves. Now, westerners are falling about themselves in the same giddy delirium, hungry for a glimpse of the nightmare Iranians still haven’t woken up from. I guess that’s why they say those who don’t know history are doomed to repeat it.

@DiegoFassnacht Warte mal. Das gilt auch für alle die vor Inkrafttreten des gesetztes bereits rechtmäßig ausgewandert sind? Das macht doch keinen Sinn? Ich bin doch bereits „expatriiert“.

Klingt wie ein April-Scherz, ist aber keiner: Jeder deutsche Mann zwischen 17 und 45 der sich länger als 3 Monate außerhalb von Deutschland aufhält, der braucht seit dem 01.01.2026 dafür eine Erlaubnis der Bundeswehr. Theoretisch müssten nun 700.000 - 1.000.000 deutsche Männer zwischen 17 und 45 einen Antrag bei der Bundeswehr stellen, damit sie weiterhin im Ausland leben dürfen. Auch jeder Student, der einen Auslandsaufenthalt plant oder jeder der eine Weltreise machen will, muss dies zuvor von der Bundeswehr genehmigen lassen. Das bedeutet bspw. für mich, dass ich 4 Jahre nach der Auswanderung aus Deutschland nun die Bundeswehr um Erlaubnis bitten muss, damit ich weiterhin in Panamá bleiben kann. Wie froh bin ich, dass ich neben der deutschen Staatsbürgerschaft auch die britische Staatsbürgerschaft besitze und im Oktober die panamaische Staatsbürgerschaft beantragen kann. Einen Plan B zu haben ist zur Zeit wirklich eine grundsätzliche Notwendigkeit und je früher man anfängt, desto wertvoller. Das zeigt das aktuelle Beispiel. In Panamá sind es bspw. zur Zeit 5 Jahre von der unbeschränkten Aufenthaltsgenehmigung bis zur Staatsbürgerschaft. Man muss sich natürlich auch die Frage stellen, warum überhaupt ein solches Gesetz beschlossen wurde.

Heute sagt @DjirSarai, dass das Festhalten am Appeasement mit den Mullahs 2018 falsch war, als Trump aus dem Irandeal von Obama ausstieg. Nur war er damals außenpolitischer Sprecher im Bundestag und hat diesen Fehler VOLL mitgetragen. Ein weiterer Sargnagel.
