@dantypo I feel the same way about parents who let their out of control kids ruin every single outing. I’ve started keeping a record because it’s literally almost every time. We’ve had one good and peaceful meal in the last month, and we eat out frequently. We rarely see dogs in stores.

Nobody is required to love your dog. I know I sound like a prick. But stop bringing them in stores. Just last Friday, I stopped in a store and a guy in checkout has his dog and it jumps on me as I walk past them. “Oh he just loves people” they say obliviously. So? I’m having to go to customers and the dog got dirt streaks on the thigh of my pants. And spare me the “if you don’t like it, don’t go in the store” bullshit. If you can’t make it through a store without your dog, it’s not me with the issues. I had a dog. It was a great dog. Best part of our family at times. But I expect NOBODY to have to deal with my occasionally over-excited dog, especially in a public place. I’d never have even thought of bringing a dog (I’ve seen it twice now) in a restaurant. Hell, if a person came over my house who was uncomfortable with it acting up, I’d take him in the other room. And for those with actual service pets? You really should speak up, because the people who don’t have well trained dogs are going to lose you that privilege. *end rant

@MGScott9 @IAmSophiaNelson I agree. Should be country over party. I’m independent too, but unless I register either Rep or Dem, I can’t vote in the primaries here in PA. This was not an issue when I lived in NJ. It’s just when I voted Dem, it would change my status to Dem, but that could be changed back.

@IAmSophiaNelson We assign too much importance to "party". I'm a forever-independent and have ALWAYS voted for whomever I thought was the best, or least worst candidate. That doesn't make me "politically homeless". That makes me a smart voter. Welcome to the club.

Can I say something: I am not a fan of former Republicans, once diehard conservatives switching to become Democrats. I will never be a Democrat. I have Democratic party friends. I vote for them now because the Republican Party, my old party is lost. Damaged. Unwell. Scary. The Independent, 3rd Party movement is useless and toothless in our two party system. I will remain politically homeless for now. But, I hope, not forever.

@Waterwoman231 @thompsons21481 @haveaconcern Yes. Not everyone is a Christian. We had a “moment of silence” when I was in school. You could pray, sleep, plan your day, or whatever you wanted as long as you respectfully remained quiet for a minute. This is fair. We had respect and didn’t condemn each other.

@DesireeAmerica4 Yes, and it can even be in your own neatly kept yard too. We wanted to buy a house and (fortunately) discovered the HOA doesn’t allow colored furniture. Forget the yard- not on your patio or deck either. I have Polywood colored Adirondack chairs and a table set. We walked. 🙄

This is getting out of control. Watch this HOA meeting. A woman is seriously complaining that landscapers are eating their lunch in the common areas because it “feels inappropriate.”🙄 Not a crime. Not a disturbance. Just workers taking a break. People so entitled and disconnected they can’t even handle basic human decency anymore. We’ve gone from “love thy neighbor” to “how dare you eat your sandwich here.”

I woke up this morning questioning my every moral standings. I found myself in an absolute panic. It’s not about trump anymore, it’s about us. Are we the most immoral of people in the world to allow this to continue? Trump should be dragged out of the White House.

@Aldonite7667 @indexnforgetit Definitely! We have a lot of Fiestaware, which is heavy. We put some of it in these newer pantry cabinets, and one of the shelf pins (plastic!) broke as well as the cheap shelf. Luckily Fiesta is tough and amazingly none of it broke when it fell on the bottom shelf.

@JLSpeidel @mikepat711 Yes, this was always me till I quit drinking Coke period. Haven’t touched one in years now, but I remember at morning work meetings, I would have to take my own Diet Coke with me since they only catered to coffee and juice. It was so annoying. I complained all the time, haha.

Every time I’m having breakfast somewhere in the south, I hear people around me ordering Pepsi/Coke to drink at like 7am. Also, every waitress calls me darling and will let me have not two sips of my coffee before they’re topping it off. I am legitimately scared to drink the coffee because I’m going to end up having 10 cups by mistake. I love it here

@AnonLurker82 @jasonc_nc Yes, there’s one on every street corner in central PA. The extended family loves it, and I don’t get it. Definitely high cost per unit, but yet they think they are saving so much money! 🤦‍♀️ Here there are a ton of other stores and Walmart, but yet they’d rather overpay at DG.

@CoffindafferFBI Maybe he was using the branches to try to pry the cam off. I have Wyze, which can be hard wired or battery, and I had to switch it to wired because I had to charge it way too often, and it was difficult to get the doorbell cam off. They aren’t meant to be easily removed.

Nancy Guthrie To be clear, what is Most interesting about Porch Guy using the fresh vines he pulled to assist him with removing the Nest Camera shows his Inexperience with: 1-Wearing what appears to be double layered gloves meaning, Porch Guy did not realize how double layered gloves would affect his ability to grip and do the job at hand. He knew they would protect his DNA . He didn't know they would impede his ability to remove that camera because he had never removed a camera with gloved hand before. 2-Removing Nest cameras from mounts. If he had experience, he would have realized how difficult it would be to grip and pull from the bracket. Porch Guy planned and prepared, but this abduction was his first rodeo. Many of us in LE surmised this from the beginning based on his actions. This supports that conclusion. This isn't to say his planning didn't pay off. It did. But I am convinced now more that ever that he was a smart rookie having never committed a crime like this before. Why did he Hate Nancy and the Guthrie family so much? #NancyGuthrie #NancyGuthrieKidnapping

@TraciKitchen @theliamnissan I am so sorry! It’s unreal how much the last few years have cost families. My husband and I actually had a lot of resentment until we moved to his family’s area, and tbh the people here are so kind and would do anything for you. It makes me sad but most are solid in the cult. 😞

@MichaelVitaleJr @SteveOnSpeed I wish we had grass. New construction here, and the grass didn’t take except for a few areas. The backyard is mostly mud and weeds. The builder won’t deal with it as promised originally either, so we are trying do it ourselves. It’s ridiculous what landscapers charge.

oh trust me, I'm doing it myself. same with sod. I had some areas of the yard that just never took from the original build. sod companies say "no job too small". what they mean is even if it's a small area we'll do it but charge you like it's a huge area LOL. quotes were $2,000+ I'm fixing it, 10 pieces at a time @ $3.99 per piece

@MichaelVitaleJr @SteveOnSpeed It’s not hard to just do it yourself. I use a digging bar and shovel. I also did my own edging and rock landscaping. We had river rock delivered in bulk, and I picked up the larger rocks that I could lift. For large boulders then those would have to be delivered and placed.

Home repair/renovation is completely absurd. Awhile back I had a landscape guy come out to quote me for replacing the cheap ass builder shrubs out front. He's suggesting this and that, and I stopped him when he got past the $10K mark. Shrubs. You know, $500 worth of stuff. And $9500 to plant them. They don't have a job for every single day, so they need to get rich on each one they do 🙄

@lolsevencard21 @lovelivesatire @KrisNewEngland @mattvanswol I’m sure that’s the case. Sometimes as an outsider just observing, I think that careers and house chores can be distracting. I saw a kid (5) sitting in the street alone playing, and he nearly got run over. SAHD was upstairs working in his office. Didn’t know his kid was outside.

@DebFlanigan @chiIIum This, and didn’t they also see the blood? If Nancy had dementia, I could see them thinking she maybe wandered off. But knowing their mother and the circumstances, such as mobility issues, as well as Tucson already seems to have a lot of crime, I’d think the same thing as he did.

It was Nancy Guthrie’s son Camron who saw very clearly what this was. Right away, he said he thought she had been kidnapped for ransom. Savannah asked if it was because of her, and he told her.. “I’m sorry, sweetie. But yeah, maybe.” The family believes the two ransom notes they received were real.
