A 49-year-old man driving a red Hyundai Tucson plowed into vehicles and pedestrians outside the Apollo Theater. One bicyclist (a delivery worker) was killed, another delivery bicyclist was critically injured, and three others (in vehicles) suffered non-life-threatening injuries. The driver also hit a tractor-trailer and an unoccupied NYPD vehicle. The driver was injured, treated, and taken into custody with charges pending. Police are investigating possible intoxication.
