I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: Tanking is only in the spotlight this year because of the historic draft class we have. The current draft lottery system could definitely be updated slightly, especially picking top-5 or something in back-to-back years, but it doesn’t need a complete overhaul. Just change the odds of a team being allowed to receive a better draft pick year-after-year, and limit trades protections on picks to top 4 and lottery only. We do not need to have an 18-22 team lottery. That makes no sense whatsoever, nor does it prevent teams from still throwing in the towel on the season.

Now that I think about it, the Capital City GoGo is definitely a better name than the Washington Wizards lol I never stopped to analyze the name due to its G-League affiliation. That name actually adds some context to the city’s character. I’m also still a fan of the Bullets.

No doubt in my mind he’ll be good. You’ll just need to be able to wait on his strength & athleticism to catch up to NBA level comp. Could take about 2-3yrs. But when he does, he’s gonna take off.

@WigsNBA & it’s not just red & white. That could be dope. But they spun it like a Bullets retro, & it looks like a knockoff. Just a terrible idea ultimately. Especially having a few bad teams associated with them. The main uni’s stink, & they need to commit to a specific direction.

@Splashh_Gordon Now I agree, I really liked the decision to switch to red and white though originally, but the red wizard logo looked so dumb I get why they changed it, but they could’ve done better, now it feels like the name isn’t even part of the brand like you mentioned

@WigsNBA You’re right, they’re not bad. But I’d personally appreciate something with a bit more significance to the culture, or at least something viscous. I’m also cool off the patriotism. IMO, those names sound more like high school / G-League teams lol

@deebopoy Facts. I agree that they either need to get with the Wizard symbol, or change entirely to whatever patriotic emblem they’re going for. I’d be down for a full Wizards rebranding, on some Harry Potter sht. Purple, gold, & black.

These jerseys are sweet. But I still don’t understand the connection to the Wizards. The name either needs to be embraced, or forgotten. Right now, they look like they want to be the Patriots or Capitals.

@MrCongee the colours are fine, just make the base colour and add small accents of the other colours. instead of the stripe gimmick. these are gorgeous and simple imo.
