@portgazdazz Only complaint is that i wish smoker showed a bit compassion towards the poor transponder snails that were attacked/killed or injured. I mean garp was literally feeding his lettuce and junk in season 1. And smokers meant to be a really nice marine lol. But didn’t care?

The Orioles announced today that they will allow fans to enter their ballpark 2.5 hours before first pitch. That will allow them to watch Baltimore take batting practice.
The Nationals should do this too.
Fans should be able to watch their favorite players take BP. Kids should be able to try to get balls hit by James Wood and Dylan Crews. It enhances engagement, access, and interest. It would also cut down on lines to get into the game right before it starts. It might even also make the team more money based on opening concessions earlier.

@thelifeoflewcid @TcasWizards 13 a game on that efficiency is really great, the problem is when you take players that went to 4 years of college they never get better, so they’re great in the late lottery on a team expecting to be in the playoffs, but not on a bad team because they’ll never get better

@HMBohemond Dune is arguably better, and that’s not a slight to Star Wars, it’s just because Star Wars was revolutionary to the film industry is why it will always be more popular, but then again, Disney also did a bit of damage to the overall product

I love Star Wars, and I mean no ill will towards it by saying this...
Star Wars is vastly inferior to Dune as a setting. Dune is the epitome of nuanced, to the point even the author missed out on it for a time. Star Wars is very black and white, and while that's not a mark against it Star Wars is at it's strongest as tale of good versus evil. Dune is more introspective about the nature of power and fate and builds a much more compelling world as a result.
Dune is also a more well designed world as a whole.

@WigsNBA @adstock13 @hoodigainer Oh he’s good…he fits in perfectly with our core players (Zion, TM3, DJM, Herb). The Pels main issue this season was that we were missing our starting point guard (DJM) for the bulk of the season and had to give 2 rookies big minutes.
