@SprucePower @elonmusk @SenTedCruz Spruce Power refuses to fix their broken Solar system that I'm paying for every month. Here's a copy of the BBB compaint I filed. -------------------------------- I leased this solar setup back in 2011 and NRG solar sold it to Spruce Power several years ago. The system worked fine until this month around April 4th when it would stop producing power as soon as the outside temp reached around 82-85 degrees. I have contacted the company multiple times and advised them of the issue by phone and by email and all I ever get from them is that they can't send out a tech to check the inverter because it's producing power. I sent photo's of the power output showing how it goes offline when the temp hits 82-85 degrees. They don't want to spend any money on the system because it's 13 years old and has 7 years left on the lease. In the 13 years I've had this system NRG or SprucePower has never had to spend even a single dollar on the system. If you follow the chart I included in my email you can see how once the temp hits around 82-85 the power production is drastically cut short. Spruce Power refuses to take this issue seriously but now that the temps are going to be hitting in the 90's here in Mesa, AZ, I'm wasting money paying my elect company SRP when the Solar system I'm paying $164/month to have should be mitigating the power cost by producing electricity during the hottest parts of the day when it will make the most power. ALL I WANT IS FOR THEM TO HONOR THEIR RESPONSIBILITY TO PROVIDE A SYSTEM THAT IS WORKING AS IT SHOULD BE. I WANT THEM TO FIX WHATEVER ISSUES ARE CAUSING THE SYSTEM TO SHUT DOWN PRODUCING POWER. --------------------------------- Look at this chart and look at the red line for the temp in Mesa, AZ and you'll see that it quits producing when it gets to around 82-85 degrees! SPRUCE POWER is stealing from me as I have to pay SRP more money because the solar isn't producing.
