@MarioNawfal Energy is the only true currency - It must be secured for the US to win the currency / economic war. Furthermore, the only way for energy to be used practically as a currency is for a commodity money that is intrinsically linked to energy to be the unit of account… Bitcoin.

Pay attention to your insulin levels too. Eating frequently throughout the day keeps insulin levels high and shuts down the signalling for your body to use stored fat as energy. When lowering your calories (to lose weight) but still keeping insulin levels high your metabolism will just slow to the amount of calories you’re feeding it and you will struggle to lose body fat. Alternatively, fasting allows your insulin levels to fall and the signalling for body fat to be used as energy, to be switched on. This means if you lower your calories (by the same as the above scenario) but also fast your metabolism will remain at it’s normal level and cover the shortfall in energy requirements from stored energy (body fat).

Nico (@BITVOLT), I listened to the most recent episode of Simply Bitcoin and this is what I would say to your bearish take on cycles. Additionally, Bitcoin has risen DESPITE the QT period the Fed has taken us through over the last few years. They have just ended that QT and are effectively beginning QE (the thing that Bitcoin’s price rises are most correlated to). Being bearish here would be denying the liquidity driven nature of Bitcoin in favour of a mythical 4-year pattern that is more coincidental than driven just by how many years have passed.

Unpopular opinion: There has NEVER been a 4-year cycle in Bitcoin. It’s always followed the liquidity cycles with additional idiosyncratic supply shocks from halvings.
