Charlotte is set to gain thousands of jobs as part of a $50.5 million expansion of a bank’s operations. - ($50.5 million isn’t jack squat! BofA stadium “renovations” cost $800 million can anyone honestly say it’s any better?) The Mecklenburg County expansion is expected to bring 2,000 jobs over the next six years - (Bank of America employs 19,000 in Charlotte!) with an average salary of $165,316, though wages will vary by position. - (most jobs will likely be administrative sub six figures as salary numbers are always wildly subjective.) Government officials said the investment is one of the largest in Charlotte’s history and is expected to generate a total annual impact of $1.17 million. - (I hope that number is a “typo” the average Chinese restaurant annual revenue is around $1.32 million!) (Oddly there’s no mention of what it cost tax payers? What tax incentives, cuts or cash payments were offered or given.)

Did you know Roy Cooper was Attorney General of North Carolina from 2001-2017? And Josh Stein was Attorney General from 2018-2023?
