On January 30, 2026, a tragic incident occurred at an Olive Garden in Williamsport, Pennsylvania, where a cook died by s**cide after self-inflicting f*tal burns in a kitchen deep fryer. Emergency responders were called to the scene following reports of an employee attempting to harm himself. Co-workers and at least one patron attempted to intervene, leading to minor injuries for a female employee. The man was transported to a local hospital but succumbed to his injuries.
