In his spare time, he is an avid music listener and vinyl collector, appreciator of flowers, and an iced chai latte enthusiast. He has been a wonderful addition to the lab and we are excited to see the cool science that comes from this interdisciplinary collaboration! Welcome!

He's joining our team to work on an exciting project that investigates RNA virus spread through TAM receptor tyrosine kinases using multi-disciplinary approaches in a highly collaborative project.

Please join us in welcoming our newest postdoc, Dr. Steven Moran (@SJvrMoran)! Dr. Moran comes to us from Cornell University, but he's a NC native who started his research journey as an undergrad at Methodist University doing work at UNC's Institute of Marine Sciences!

I’m extremely honored to be recognized with the WICB Junior Research Award. @ASCBiology and WICB have been key to my career development since I attended my first annual meeting in 2005. Congrats to the other awardees!
