It’s actually disgraceful that we’re hitting Resident Evil’s 30th anniversary and still don’t have proper remasters of the original trilogy. I don’t know a better way to celebrate RE1’s 30th than a proper collection with trophies, QoL options, restored cut content, and extras.

The GOG release doesn't fix the many issues with 1-3 on PC that make them inferior to the PSX version in many ways.

@mrpyo1 Devs of FF7R:P3 already said that PC is the leading platform and will be released on Steam and Epic Games at day one. Cope and cry.

Keep in mind this doesn't mean you won't get playstation games on PC: - 3rd party deals like ff7 will still be ported later to pc (they will be more aggresive with pure 3rd party exclusives) - GAAS games and mp games still to pc etc

Jason Schreier has confirmed once again Sony is done porting single player games to pc. This means: - No steam version - No epic version - No Playstation launcher that the games are ported to (* No ports to any pc store) Sony wants exclusives back to the PlayStation brand!

It's missing the original trilogy. Still, all of these tourists in the Resident Evil fandom were exposed and now Steam are releasing the games extremely cheap on Steam for sale. They're still not gonna buy and play them.

@GODofTHEPONIES @A5hTriX @Ninjago9101 I’m not against the PS5 or consoles. I do prefer PC, because you can do a lot more with it, like writing this tweet right now, using other software, or working. But the PS5 is user-friendly: you just turn it on and play. I always recommend it to friends who aren’t very into PCs.

@StepAsR @A5hTriX @Ninjago9101 So based on your data we can say at BEST under 50% of people have a pc stronger than a PS5. Because again. Ram is almost a non factor. It’s really up to the gpu and cpu. Still not a high percentage for how old and relatively cheap the PS5 is

@GODofTHEPONIES @A5hTriX @Ninjago9101 You can be right here, I worked on the data I had, but you are missing that something like 2070 have DLSS and Frame Generation, so can be better than pure raster. 2070 anyway is counted "below PS5" on GPU section.

@StepAsR @A5hTriX @Ninjago9101 Tech still isn’t fair. Because most of those aren’t going to work well on GPUs that can’t run. You can’t count path tracing if someone has a 1060TI. And that number is clearly skewing it. Without that it’s down to 45%
