Old man rant: current texting etiquette uses "K" for OK and "T" for Time Out (TO) since of course two letters would be extra burdensome texting-wise. I predict that in the future, the English language will be comprised of solely 26 letters and (approximately) 10,000+ emojis.

One of my all-time favorite papers which I first read and presented in graduate school. A profound argument for why life chose phosphates rather than sulfates, carbonates or something else, based on elementary physical and organic chemistry principles. archives.evergreen.edu/webpages/curri…

@Support X says it can't find my @OpenReactionDB account? Perhaps it was deleted due to inactivity? I'd like to reactivate it please.

I need to reach someone at Google Scholar about an indexing problem; does anyone know how to reach someone there?

@eigendecay @wpwalters @drGregBowman That's my day job 🙂. In the long run, driving down cycle times is going to be more impactful than being smarter with small, high-latency data. Both are good pursuits in the short/medium term.

@StevenKearnes @wpwalters @drGregBowman if you're bottlenecked by synthesis, you're better off getting more data for the endpoints you actually care about and improving the models that select which compounds get synthesized in the first place

If you had $500M to create an opensource dataset to drive drug discovery, what data would you want?

Over the weekend, the Red Line's new Kendall/MIT inbound headhouse opened for service. Thanks to @MIT's transit-oriented development, the Ashmont/Braintree station entry offers a modern, accessible rider experience with convenient connections to the community. #BuildingABetterT
