Fatah and Hamas
You cannot understand the present unless you understand the betrayal. And in Palestine, that betrayal has a name: Fatah.
For decades, Fatah dominated the Palestinian political landscape. It claimed the banner of resistance, it waved the flag of national liberation. But when power and money entered the picture, that banner was dropped. Fatah mutated into something else, a tool of occupation, a collaborator regime whose only job is to protect the Zionist entity and to fight, suppress, arrest and kill its own Palestinian people.
In contrast, Hamas came from the street. It was born in the fires of the First Intifada. It never begged for approval from Washington or Brussels. And when the people were finally allowed to vote, in the only real democratic election in Palestine’s modern history, they chose Hamas.
The response? Sabotage. A foreign-backed coup. And a brutal siege not just imposed by the Zionist regime, but endorsed and co-managed by Palestinians who had sold their souls.
2006: The People Spoke, and the World Tried to Silence Them
In 2006, Palestinians voted. Not just in Gaza, but across all of occupied Palestine. The election was clean, monitored, and verified by international observers including former US President Jimmy Carter.
Hamas won. And not by a narrow margin. They won the majority in the West Bank, Jerusalem and Gaza, actually gaining a higher vote share in the West Bank. The myth that “only Gaza voted for Hamas” is a Zionist propaganda. The truth is: the entire Palestinian people voted for change, and that change was Hamas.
That terrified the United States, the Zionist regime, and their agents in the region. A real Palestinian government that couldn’t be controlled, bought, or silenced? That was unacceptable.
Bush, Dahlan, the CIA and Mossad: The Coup That Failed
This is where the real betrayal began.
The Bush administration, together with Zionist intelligence and Arab Gulf regimes, moved fast. They didn’t just refuse to accept the results. They tried to reverse them with violence
Their instrument was Mohammed Dahlan, the most notorious thug Fatah ever produced. Trained in the UAE, linked directly to the CIA and Mossad, and infamous for his cruelty and corruption, Dahlan became the chosen hammer to crush Hamas
Under the guidance of US generals and Zionist handlers, Dahlan began amassing weapons, recruiting militias, and planning a coup in Gaza. Documents and investigative reports later exposed the full plot, a plan of assassinations, street battles, and destabilization. Even Western journalists admitted it was a premeditated coup backed by the US and “israel”
But it failed. In 2007, Hamas moved first. They confronted Dahlan’s militias, dismantled the coup, and restored control in Gaza. Western media still calls this a “Hamas takeover,” but the truth is that it was the defense of a democratic election from a foreign-funded mutiny
Abbas and the Palestinian Authority: Collaborators in Uniform
Rather than accepting political reality, Fatah, under Mahmoud Abbas, fully embraced its role as subcontractor to the Zionist regime
The Palestinian Authority (PA), which was supposed to be the government of the people, became a militia working hand-in-glove with the occupier. Abbas and his generals didn’t just look the other way. They led a campaign of arrests, torture, assassinations, and political repression, all aimed at Hamas, Palestinian Islamic Jihad, and any form of armed resistance
PA intelligence coordinated directly with Zionist terrorist forces’ raids. Joint operations. Joint interrogations. Abbas’s men became jailers for the occupation. IOF would bomb Gaza while PA security forces rounded up dissidents in the West Bank
And then came the blockade.
The Siege of Gaza:
The total siege of Gaza, which continues to this day, was not only designed by the Zionist regime. It was welcomed by Abbas, the PA and Fatah and the Zionist Gulf regimes, alongside Egypt and Jordan.
