It was a pleasure to welcome Air Marshal Paul Lloyd, for a day including time with 11 Sqn QEAF, 90 SU and 2 C-UAS Wg. Importantly, the day featured the presentation of Long Service and Good Conduct awards and commendations to members of our hard working Whole Force team. 🙌

Across Northumberland this weekend Boulmer-based personnel paraded and paid their respects. We paused today to gather as one and reflect on those who have suffered for our collective safety and freedom.

An amazing night @RAF_Leeming where this year’s Lord Wakefields RAF Amateur Boxing Finals were held. There were some fantastic bouts and an outstanding event. Thanks to #OpUNITE and @RAFAssociation for supporting our veterans and @RAFBoxing. Well done to all involved 🥊👏💪

We have just completed a fantastic 100 mile ride supporting an amazing charity - The Jon Egging Trust. I was really pleased to see such an outstanding turnout from RAF Leeming. It was also great to have Station Commander RAF Coningsby (Pablo O’Grady) join us. Well done to all👏

🛫 On a visit to @RAF_Leeming today, The Queen met @RoyalAirForce personnel and their families, as well as Qatari Emiri Air Force pilots. 👩‍✈️Her Majesty, who is the Honorary Air Commodore for RAF Leeming, also heard about the welfare support offered at the base to aviators and their families. Allotments, 🐓chicken coups and beehives 🐝 help to make up the ‘Wellness Area’. ✈️ 👋 Before departing, The Queen watched a flypast of Hawk Jets, piloted by British and Qatari aviators who train together on site. 🇬🇧🇶🇦 Head to royal.uk (link in bio) to find out more about The Queen’s visit.

@FionaClareLond The Queen visited the station’s wellness area including allotments, a polytunnel, chicken coups and beehives. She met Ophelia, 18 months, whose mother Phoebe said her daughter loves to come down each day to feed the chickens. ‘It’s good to start them young,’ HM agreed.

The Queen, Honorary Air Commodore, has arrived at RAF Leeming to meet service personnel and their families and learn about the welfare support they are offered.  Her Majesty will be introduced to instructors who train RAF and Qatari pilots and tour the site’s ‘Wellness Area’.

A team of RAF Leeming personal Cycled 100 miles in support of the RAF Association (an amazing charity). The event was really well organised, but it was a tough day out in the wind. Thanks to all those who have supported - a fantastic day for a great cause 🙏💪

We enjoyed hosting AOC 22 Gp, AVM Townsend, at Leeming today. Thanks to BAE, 11 QEAF Sqn, 2 C-UAS Wg, the UAS Squadrons and the Cadets. I was particularly impressed with the request for early morning Phys 💪. Well done to the RAF Leeming Team.

In advance of tomorrow’s clash between @RAFRugbyUnion and @armyrugbyunion, it was a privilege to present Corporal Josh McNally @BathRugby, with his Long Service and Good Conduct medal. The LS&GC Medal recognises 15 years of excellence and commitment to the Service.

Personnel from 20 Sqn are taking part in the Royal Air Force Association V50, aiming to complete 50 miles in distance, via any form, in just one week! Money will be donated to RAFA, who provide support to the RAF community. Good Luck Team!
