Does anyone have LOUD but age appropriate music suggestions for a 9year old who actively dislikes music? RATM and Rammstein are the only bands he will listen to, but only because he likes the pun in “Du Hast” and being able to sing “ Eff You, I won’t do what you tell me”.

@272BookFaith And this is a wonderful set, but it speaks volumes that most of these books are 10+ years old. YA is worse still. Publishers just don't publish books for boy readers into YA anymore, which is incredibly sad.

Pals, are we ready to have the 'there is nothing out there for teen boy readers' discussion yet? Because the more I hear 'I can't find anything I like' from them during my school visits, the more I grow convinced publishing has forgotten about the post-Middle Grade boys.
