After nearly 100 performances, my Defying Calamity tour ended in Maidenhead last night. Thank you to everyone who came, everyone who said kind things and everyone who donated to the @BCRT after the gigs. I have loved it. The venues have been stunning and the audiences even better. Taking a break before my new show Project Holy Moly opens at the Edinburgh Festival… in 19 days. 🤪

Just been told by @BCRT that last night broke the record for the most money we’ve raised in a single night of the tour. The audience in Nottingham gave over £1600! That is PHENOMENAL. I cannot thank you all enough. 🦴 🙏 🌳

MASSIVE MASSIVE thanks to everyone who came to see me at Nottingham @RoyalNottingham. I didn’t want the gig to end. I wanted to savour every moment on that stage. When I did my first gig at the Malt Cross Music Hall round the corner, I would never have dreamed that I’d end up playing the Theatre Royal. Going in that Stage Door was so cool. I’d waited to get Steve Coogan’s autograph when he played there in 1998. Nottingham has always shown me so much love, especially when I was ill. Thank you. I love you all. YOOOOOOU REEEEEEEDS! 🌳
