It’s kind of funny how the gophs are struggling so much to find a coach. Imagine LSU or Alabama opens up in football. Every single coach in the country wants that job, but in hockey I guess a top 5 brand doesn’t pull any weight??

All coaches who have proven they can win at this level, have years of experience actually coaching/recruiting, especially in a head coaching role. UMN is a top program, they can get who they wan

I think he could get some of his friends kids, but overall recruiting best in the country is overstatement. I think an established coach is a way smarter move

I was referring to the amount of hockey people that Matt knows, from all over the country. He billeted Suter’s kid last year. Think of all the NHL players around his age who have kids looking at schools. The Spud players were already in Moorhead, with the exception of ZZ, and his mom’s family are Spuds.
