This is incredibly important. Huge credit to @SharazDavid and @GetUp! for taking on an issue that affects every Australian. We should all support a free press. We should also support accountability. Albanese has signalled that he is not taking the call for a tax on gas companies seriously and won't go forward with it despite it being wildly popular amongst Australians from all sides of politics and walks of life. Why? Simple. He cares more about gas companies than you. He doesn't take YOU seriously.

And we SHOULD end corrupt misuse of our systems – but not boot 150,000 people off support they rely on.
