the isle of wight is just below my hometown, portsmouth two other local faves: the d-day story (a museum — the logo is a bullet-torn ‘D’ depicting the british and french coasts, by @StudioLR), and southsea brewing co (a brewery in a cannon-flanked castle — i made this one! 🥰)

the hand-drawn look of the calyx pushes this project far past ‘rebland’ and makes it distinct, which ain’t easy, considering how ubiquitous the ‘arced text’ motif has been recently (and, also, it’s a hallmark of heinz, whose ketchup will share shelf space with these products)
