Another game I wanted to try out was Nier Automata since I started it recently, and man it’s really night and day between this and the Switch 1 handheld version. The resolution is so much better 😭

Like any normal person, the first game I tried with the new Handheld Boost Mode on Switch 2 was Sonic Frontiers To be honest, it’s not terribly different from how the game normally is on Switch 2, but the resolution feels like it dips less than it did before, so that’s something

Entire graphical effects are missing in handheld which is no longer the case on switch 2, and the LOD settings are that of docked mode which is much higher. Really cool tbh

@OatmealDome This will be great for Switch 1 games that run at 30fps in handheld mode and 60fps in docked mode, or games like Sonic Frontiers that had noticeable downgrades in handheld mode (such as lack of reflections).
