This is the official stance of the church. You were wrong to say you disagree with the council. The council never said anything wrong.

@quinn31960 @PremilCalvinist @nypost And they would be wrong. A priest can say whatever he wants to, so can a deacon, a bishop a cardinal and so forth but they would all be wrong. Even if all catholics except the pope declared this they would be wrong. The truth doesn't depend on anyone but God.

Not that they fully do but at least they profess to believe in one God of the old testament who IS the same God of the new. Do Samaritans believe in the same God as the Jews if they reject all scripture besides the Torah

Nonetheless, you would have to go against the decision of the Magisterium. To what authority do you appeal against the Magisterium?

@PremilCalvinist @quinn31960 @nypost The plan of salvation including muslims is not wrong since it includes everybody. Considering they are basically arians on steroids of course they and jews are the closest to us and therefore one of the first in the plan of salvation.

@PremilCalvinist @nypost I disagree with Vatican II (as do many Catholics). Muslims do not believe in the holy trinity. Exorcists are specifically trained to deal with demons. There’s a way to do battle with demons and there’s ways not to do battle with demons making it worse.
