I'd be happy to be proven wrong, but don't act as if I've kicked a kitten when I express an opinion on an upcoming movie. Mel Gisbon is not a saint and his movies are not sacrosanct.

The Passion and the Resurrection sequels are gonna be like LotR/the Hobbit. Great first movie(s), closely following source material. Sequels: unecessarly made into muliple movies, overly-drawn out, way too long based on the source material, and with tons of bad fanfic and CGI.

Any depiction of this that resembles "an acid trip" is a sensationalised and bad depiction

I don't think Christians should see a movie about Christ that the director is calling "an acid trip"

@XCkyro Did Gibson describe the Passion as an acid trip? And as an aside, Hollywood is going through a terrible cycle of putting out two-part sequels to great movies that would have been best left alone. I predict this will be another.
