I’ve been uncharitable to Bree lately but I do respect her on this one. No Catholic should be doing yoga, learning yoga, or being part of any yoga culture. Go find a solid stretching program that isn’t attached to demonic enlightenment ideologies. You can do most stretches in the form of a low squat with different variations and not damn yourself by summoning a demon. I highly recommend it.

The Monastery of the Infant Jesus of Prague in Michigan renovated its church This Carmelite chapel was built originally in the 60’s, leading its modernist architectural design, but 2010’s renovations led to its new “based” and “traditional” appearance The nuns are cloistered and maintain full habit and a discalced life. There is a growing membership here as well as more young women discern traditional monastic life

@sitlausdeo Patriotism is a virtue, but patriotism also includes just criticism of country. And freedom of speech absolutely allows him to sit. Who even knows if he was sitting as an act of protest or some other reason.

@BackwardsFeet I think the guy went too far but the kid was absolutely wrong to sit. Patriotism is a minor virtue of piety which is subordinate to justice. This makes his actions venial. That being said, I don’t know where the line is, but correction here can be just.

Look at all the people turning back and looking. This old guy disrupted the anthem for dozens of people with his antics.
