The var watched it for 2 minutes before deciding to refer it to the ref then the ref had to watch it several times before changing his mind, does that really smack of a clear and obvious error? No it doesn’t, had the penalty been given I wouldn’t have expected an overturn so why did var not follow the clear and obvious guidelines.
