tldr; they're not changing the backstories, they didn't specify what lines would be changed, and they just doubled down and made up more bullshit lore which contradicts and shits on alex patricia and tom as characters. so this bs was fully intended and approved. love it here.

Man, after reading that short story, Alex and Pat would have been a really cool brother-sister duo. I wish they stayed that way. Those are rare in SF, and there's no way to patch that back. The whole "pregnant, angelic trad wife" thing has been done many times in SF already.

@ssshuckle It's weird how we're just NOW learning that Alex's entire reason for getting strong was Patricia, when that wasn't the case in SF3. So, now Patricia is some sort of perpetual damsel in distress case that Alex had to come and protect from bullying/kidnappings/herself/etc. lol

Alex isn't ever going to be in a game again with how much his reputation has been ruined from Capcom's incompetence, so we should all collectively agree that none of this happened.

One of the funnier parts of all of this is that Alex becoming a family man does not even fit his character He was always focused on fighting, and now he's even a heel, so why is he going jk I'm not a bad guy i LOVE my pregnant sistercousinwife
