@Sluggle_ @colligocritters @DEERL4NEY i can confirm there are. my old pacman frog was female for the first two years and then started croaking weakly and i noticed she had grown a nuptial pad signifying that she had turned into a male! renamed him from bonnibel to bob after that haha

@phi1odendron @colligocritters @DEERL4NEY I'm pretty sure there aren't any frog species that are sequential hermaphrodites(could be wrong) and that this is a myth started by jurassic park.
there are many animal species that actually are sequential hermaphrodites though, most notably clownfish.

I hate to say it but I find it a bit odd that every time an intersex animal goes viral people try to claim that it's equivalent to some kind of specific trans identity when it really is just straight up intersex. idk it feels like trans rep off the back of intersex erasure
