@SurfWithSharks @oddzowen Epson is an awful track for finishing horses' careers who give everything and get a hard race in an Oaks or Derby.. more often than not, there never the same again.

Might be me being fairly stupid. But I’m guessing Desert Flower has been retired?. Never have heard such little about a classic winning horse in my life within the span of a year.

I am pretty new to racing but over the last decade do you ever think the established names in racing are sort of Teflon and can do what they like. Whilst the little people say claimers/small trainers owners they can do the tiniest thing wrong and they get the book thrown at them?
