@RecklessBeav @KeruboSk Muscle wasting and osteoporosis probably. Not all users, but a lot (and I personally know a few) just rely on the jabs to stop them eating and don't do any exercise to maintain strength or change to healthier eating habits.

@KeruboSk And the fear is in life there is always trade offs. There is always a price to pay we just haven’t seen it yet.

Ozempic was designed for diabetes. Then it became the biggest weight loss drug in history.
Now a massive new study shows it also significantly reduces depression, anxiety, and addiction risk.
One drug. Three completely different conditions. Science is barely keeping up with what GLP-1s are doing
The study found that people taking semaglutide (the active ingredient in Ozempic and Wegovy) saw major drops in depression and anxiety alongside the weight loss effects everyone already knew about.
It also showed reduced risk of substance use disorders.
A weight loss drug that may help treat addiction. Nobody predicted that.

Far-right lads scream “Free Iranian women! No forced veils! Let them wear what they want!”
Then Green MP Hannah Spencer wears what *she* damn well wants in Parliament:
Them: 😡🔥 "DISGRACE! BAN THAT OUTFIT!"
“Protecting women & girls” until the woman has her own brain and wardrobe. Peak fucknuggetry 🤡🤷♀️

@Morochero4 @awkwardgoogle It was so simple for the perpetrator to not attack her. Shall we shift the blame for a change?

@Vks1506 @lilyally98 Because the patriarchy has assumed women to be the main caregivers and ones to nurture.
Because the patriarchy peddled "boys don't cry" for so long male victims rarely speak up and are ashamed to seek help through fear of looking weak.
Feminism would benefit men in both situ

@lilyally98 There r many examples:
Child custody given to mothers rather then fathers becoz of stereotypes like women are naturally better
Male victims of domestic abuse face difficulty being believed and getting justice becoz society always assume men are wrong

A conversation with a man:
Me: All men
Him: Not all men
Me: okay. You have a daughter, right? Would you be comfortable with her going to a party with a bunch of other girls, with no boys present?
Him: yes (without hesitation)
Me: cool. Would you be comfortable with her going to a party with a bunch of boys, with no girls present.
Him: no (without hesitation)
Me: why?
Him: Cause there will be at least 2-3 boys who are a problem.
Me: cool. So if those 2-3 boys do something horrible, will the other boys step in? Say something? Tell someone?
Him: (hesitates)....
Me: exactly. All men.
