@SwimmerWith @jonny_acheson Luckily she isn’t online, doesn’t even keep up with the news! She’s certainly listening to her docs though, very strict with food, taken up swimming too! She’s always walked couple of miles everyday, kept fit, loved her Zumba!! Has hip replacement on Sunday! 😩

Today I am celebrating 17 years of working as an Emergency Medicine Consultant in the busiest ED in the UK, while living with #Parkinsons for nearly 10 years of them. At diagnosis this was just a pipe dream.

@landgirlwlm @jonny_acheson She must cling on to hope . The Parkinsons world cAn seem very dark and depressing but there are normal people out there achieving wonderful and extraordinary things . Be sure to manage what she exposes herself to online as the diagnosis depression is very real
