Rich. The US passed a law forcing ByteDance to either sell TikTok’s US operations to a buyer approved by the US government or face a ban. TikTok is now 80% owned by an American. I'm sure it was "very difficult" for them to do so, but there's them apples.

The alternative is that those resources get depleted in a few decades.

All she is talking about is how companies need to stop extracting natural resources as if they are unlimited (and depleting them) and factor in the costs of using them in their accounting.

But if you want to compare the experiences, rape victims are more likely to have their sexual morality questioned, as if what they do/who they are can justify the rape. Murder victims' families don't go through that

He walked out on bail. I walked out with panic attacks.
