In honor of National Mentoring Month, the District recognized the @TAKESTOCKPBC mentors who are valuable role models for our students. Between August and December 2023, the mentors have collectively volunteered for 3,352 hours! District 6 School Board Member Marcia Andrews was also named Mentor of the Year in Palm Beach County by Take Stock in Children. Mrs. Andrews has been a mentor for Take Stock in Children since 2017, guiding and supporting a total of seven students, currently mentoring three.

Take Stock in Children of Florida was awarded the Mentorship Program for At-Risk Male Students (MPARMS) grant in the amount of $750,000 by @MyFLFamilies to recruit, enroll, support, and mentor at-risk male students. #TakeStockinChildren #MPARMS
