So sick of the “D1 or Bust” mentality. And for what? So your parents can brag to friends? So few even GET the opportunity to play in college. IF you get the chance to play at the next level...GO where you can get the best college experience & degree. THAT'S what matters.

5'11, 155lb kid drafted into MLB in 2nd round. RHP ... 86-89 at draft. If he were a 2023 he'd be passed by some D3 schools and all frontline D1 schools. He'd be a late call back by some D3s after they lose out on "power projectables." That's the state of ⚾️ He won 355 games

There is and never will be a perfect proccess to selecting players for post season accolades; That being said, it's my opinion that if a player is Region Player of the year, he has to be first team All-State before any other player from that region gets the nod. Where's Hodinko?
