🇺🇸 This absolute monster named Tesfaye Cooper, the same thug who tortured a disabled teenager on Facebook Live, is back on the streets. The twist?? He just got arrested again... okay, who am I kidding? Of course he was. He chased down a cyclist who simply waved at him, beat him, spat on him, screamed “Gangster Disciples,” and stole his bike. Released after only 7 years for the first savage attack. In a saner penal system, this predator would never see daylight again. Disgusting. Lock him up for good. Source: @CollinRugg

As a parent, I know how critical high-quality child care and early learning opportunities are for working families in Washington. Today I announced $56 million in grants to fund new facilities and renovation statewide. 74 early learning providers. 40 cities and 17 counties. 2,056 new child care spaces. I insisted that the Millionaires’ Tax provide significant relief for working families, including additional support for early learning. Thanks to the generosity of the Ballmer Group, we’re on track to provide early learning to thousands more kids over the next decade. With these grants, we are working to build more capacity — literally — for our child care and early learning providers.
