@TheRowdyRhymes Just give your play of the day. If you let us start picking, we are cooked
English

The Steelers have several rookie contract extension candidates that they’ll look to take care of before the regular season. In order to do that, they’ll need to restructure at least one deal, I think. They should start with Highsmith ($6.64M in savings).
Where things get dicey are if they touch other contracts (specifically Watt).
English

@TrainLikeGame @coachzblair10 I wish players would watch highlights. I truly believe they don’t want anything at all…
English

@coachzblair10 Truth we definitely live in a culture of just watching highlights.
English

There are TOO many times I'll ask the guys, "Did you see the game last night?" And they reply quietly, "No."
There are so many opportunities to learn the game by watching.
Situations, pitch sequences, listening to the commentary, players reactions during success/failure, etc.
It's a shame that most don't watch the game anymore.
Brad Gyorkos@CoachGyorkos
The lack of baseball knowledge is becoming more prevalent with every recruiting class. Do you know the game? Do you watch the game or just 10-15 second clips of the game? There aren’t enough guys who LOVE baseball.
English

@KingFish626 It’s the MLB teams getting in the way. Either let your players play or shut the hell up and stay out of the way. Miller, skubal, Joe Ryan. Venezuela threw their best 4 relievers in all 6 games
English

@BarrettsGoat @psychoticUMfan There is no one elite in this Venezuela lineup except Acuña
Español

@psychoticUMfan Discrediting this elite Venezuela lineup that is in the final for a reason 🤣
English

@KingFish626 Should have been Mason from the jump. This isn’t hard decisions. That’s why you make a guy who has any experience the manager of team USA
English

@msurmom @jamess_burnss @coachzblair10 @JeffPassan They have tested the 100% ABS zone in low A and it was very interesting. I suggest looking at that data where they took the ball strike decision completely out of the hands of the umpire
English

@TGarbs3 @jamess_burnss @coachzblair10 @JeffPassan other sports refs shouldn’t be automated, but in baseball where there is the capability to have a 100% clear cut rule it should be
English

@msurmom @jamess_burnss @coachzblair10 @JeffPassan That is a completely different conversation where you will find no argument from me. When you have humans involved in this capacity you are bound for mistakes. And at time egregious ones
English

@TGarbs3 @jamess_burnss @coachzblair10 @JeffPassan which is why WBC should have ABS cause it’s not fair to punish a batter who makes a good decision to take a pitch by striking him out
English

@msurmom @jamess_burnss @coachzblair10 @JeffPassan Sure in theory you can draw what Is defined as a strike zone on a piece of paper. In real life, in a game, it is imaginary and an assumption in someone’s head. And that changes constantly. The point is, it was a bad call but it’s hard working with something that doesn’t exist.
English

@msurmom @jamess_burnss @coachzblair10 @JeffPassan That changes with every single batter and every single umpire. You can’t draw a strike zone. You can only guess at where it is thought to be. You can define something that is invisible
English

@TGarbs3 @jamess_burnss @coachzblair10 @JeffPassan except the yellow line represents an ACTUAL line to gain. while the box we see on TV isn’t 100% accurate there is an actual defined strike zone.
English

@jamess_burnss @coachzblair10 @JeffPassan The strike zone is imaginary. It’s like the yellow line in the NFL. It’s all up to interpretation until the league implements science, like ABS
English

@AdamSchefter @PerrettM Vegas fans acting like this changes everything
English

Former Steelers FB Connor Heyward has agreed to terms with the Raiders on a 2 year/ $5.5 million max value deal, including $2M fully guaranteed, per @PerrettM.
English

@JomboyMedia Let’s just not use the best relievers in baseball in the 8th inning
English

@SportsFan442044 @PittsburghSport I really do see them trading back, not up, and drafting OL or DL. Taking WR in round 2. Potentially moving up to do it. Should be fun
English

@PittsburghSport Agreed. The best way to protect the QB(especially if Rodgers) is reliable targets and OL. WR would be set with day 2 or even later FA signing. OL would be the way to go.
English

After seeing what the #Steelers are doing - going physical to the max on offense- I would not be surprised to see them go OL round 1 at all - especially with so many of their OL up for new contracts soon.
English

@ChristianMurp04 @javiergx52 @SteelersFC I think this is how the majority of people felt but kinda hoped there was a way to restructure. Late round pick swap? I think it’s a good deal
English

@javiergx52 @SteelersFC Yeah I made a comment “I guess I’ll stfu” but yall can flame me i deserve it
English

What did we give up before I respond
Tom Pelissero@TomPelissero
Trade! The Colts are sending WR Michael Pittman Jr. to the Steelers.
English

@bmore_ray52 @PittsburghSport I mean you have to imagine it won’t be around 14 again lol. You got a proven guy for 2 first rounds picks. If he delivers a Super Bowl run, no one talks about the two picks. I’m a Steelers fan and I don’t love thinking about him twice a year
English

@TGarbs3 @PittsburghSport 100% and people keep bringing up next years pick. If everything goes right that pick will be between 28-32 which is a fringe starter anyway to be honest. Did the Ravens overpay? Maybe. Do they care? Nope lol
English

@bmore_ray52 @PittsburghSport I honestly think it’s the presence and the ability to stop the run that makes it worth it. Teams will run away from him but also have to game plan specifically for him. To me this is a pay for a guy you absolutely know the floor on, compared to a shot in the dark at 14
English

@PittsburghSport If sack totals were the only thing that mattered, you’d be correct but he brings more than just sacks.
