This whole “PRIORITIZE US” nonsense needs to end too, what exactly do you need players to prioritize you for? For being a joke post Ferguson-era
And Carrick deserves some of the blame too. I love him, but it has to be said. How can a club miss out on its first, second, and even third priority target, and you’re still there?
INEOS are a cancer, and if they can’t sign Mateus Fernandes for £85m or offer him 200k, anyone who still thinks we’re getting Tchouaméni is more delusional than someone who thinks they’ll win the lottery twice in the same week.
I'm starting to question the decision to appoint Carrick.
The more I look at it, the more it feels like INEOS wanted a manager they could easily manage. A club legend on a short-term contract becomes the perfect shield if the project fails, the criticism falls on him before he's shown the door.
Where is the backing every rebuilding manager is supposed to receive?
Manchester City have invested £130M in Anderson and are already pushing for Ayoub. Meanwhile, INEOS are hesitating over Mateus Fernandes, despite the obvious need for midfield reinforcement. They know Luke Shaw needs reliable competition, they know the squad still lacks an experienced striker, and they know key areas remain unresolved.
Instead of addressing those priorities, the conversation has shifted to bringing Rashford back. If that's the plan, then serious questions need to be asked about the direction of this rebuild.
@Bruno21Assists Just coz Man City is stupid ,doesn't mean we have to also be stupid....we need 2 world class midfielders...Madrid is selling both Tch nd Carmavinga.....140m can buy both, why buy one silly boy who doesn't hv good decision making
In a market where Brighton rejected £100M for Baleba last season, Elliot Anderson was sold to City for £130M, Newcastle called £100M for Tonali, Chelsea are calling £150M for Enzo Fernandez…. Manchester United bottled a talent like Mateus Fernandes because West Ham asked for £85M.
So why exactly did we pay £75M for 26yr old Mbeumo last summer???
@RomzyUnited Guys congratulations, I never wanted Mateus coz its highway robbery at 85m,wen Scott, who brought Bournemouth to Europa, long passes, good control, etc, is just 75-80...Tch is 80-90, Carmavinga is 60-70, oh come on, no one is robbing United again
I’m genuinely happy and grateful to INEOS and Manchester United for refusing to sign M. Fernández for £85 million. One of the best decisions the club has made in years.
It sends a clear message to every club out there: Manchester United is no longer a cash cow that gets bullied into overpaying for every player on the market.
Paying £85M for a mid and still unproven player is insane, all because some overzealous fans watched a few 3-minute compilation clips on social media 😂
Football decisions should be based on consistency, mentality, and real performances not edits and hype.
@markgoldbridge U supported Amorim appointment nd stay,Tennant stay, Rasmus , all fake things u, support, wen u suddenly supported Mateas ,I knew it was gonna be a fake rule
The amount of United fans who are justifying billionaires who put us in to debt not spending money on making us successful us actually sickening. They really have won
@indykaila I'm glad we finally have a serious recruitment, u can't buy money for a ballon dor player with a relegated one, infct if it was Scott, that would be OK, He's in Europa league....got Bournemouth from Zero to Hero
🚨[🔴] BREAKING: Manchester United have submitted a £75m bid for Bournemouths Alex Scott.
Scott is Uniteds number 1 target after Ugartes injury.
[@NathanSalt]
Matues Fernandes is not worth £85m but the market is inflated. Baleba and Alex Scott (our alternatives) will be a similar fee.
Personally think United should've paid up and got it done even if the price is a JOKE for a relegated player.
@AliceTalksFooty I'm glad we didnt sign that boy, coz by the time they refuse that means they hv seen his loyalty is low, nd we dont want such players to come to united anymore
🚨💣 Understand Manchester United have been informed that Mateus Fernandes will join Tottenham, as called by @David_Ornstein.
ManUnited pushed hard to sign Fernandes, but their stance remained clear: they will only buy players at the right valuation. ManUnited want to stay patient in the market and sign the right targets at the right price. Fernandes deal now 100 % off. #MUFC@SkySportDE 🇵🇹
🚨💣 BREAKING: Tottenham agree club record deal for Mateus Fernandes, HERE WE GO!
Agreement in place at £85m fixed fee as West Ham accept the price they’ve always asked, 100% guaranteed — as @David_Ornstein reports.
Man United will now focus on different targets in midfield.
@markgoldbridge We are doing absolutely great, with great hopes that that mateus deal collapses coz He's a big joke...I dont see why we would decide to go to CL to face the psgz with a relegated player...may westham continue hyping him so we can leave
🚨 Thierry Henry on Germany's disallowed goal against Paraguay after VAR review:
🗣️ “Listen, that decision is a bad one. An absolutely insane decision.
Tah wins the header cleanly. He attacks the ball, gets there first and puts it in the net. For me, that's a perfectly good goal.
Then VAR gets involved and suddenly we're chalking it off because of the softest contact on the goalkeeper.
That's not football.
If every little touch on a keeper is going to be punished like that, then defenders might as well stop challenging in the box completely.
Germany have every right to feel robbed because that goal should have stood.
And when you look at what happened after, it's even worse. That decision has effectively cost Germany qualification to the Round of 16 after they went out on penalties.
VAR was brought in to correct clear and obvious errors, not to search for excuses to disallow good goals.
For me, that's a shocking call.”
🚨🎙️ Ronaldo Luis Nazario after Brazil beat Japan to qualify for the next round
“I’m sad, this is not my Brazil. Why is an Italian coaching my team? I don’t care if Martinelli scored, Joao Pedro scored a lot of goals for his club and you brought Endrick and Martinelli to the world over him. We need to question Ancelotti’s decisions.
Why was Neymar on the bench throughout the game? It doesn’t look alright to me. Why is an old man still playing defensive midfield for my country? Casemiro let us concede the first goal. It’s not his fault, he’s old. If we keep going like this, we won’t reach the final.
I don’t enjoy watching our wingers. Olise and Yamal are more entertaining than our wingers. We are Brazil, we should be the king of entertainment. Ancelotti is not the right man for us. I’ll speak to the Brazil football federation, they need to hire Pep after the World Cup”. 👏
