Two things the U.S. should thank Black folks for: 1. Building this country. 2. Not justifiably burning this whole country to the ground.

For the record. I’m not a style account. We’re here to get hotter richer smarter healthier wiser cooler. Dressing well is just part of the game. We’re having fun. We’re making money. We’re enjoying our freaking lives and pursuing our God given talents. (This tends to piss people off.) We’re taking care of our physical and mental health. Because they both matter a lot! (Remember. You matter a lot.) And we look hot doing it. Sue us (me.)

the inability to separate style from "attractive looking person" or "background information in the photo signals wealth and status" is why 99% of style accounts on here are worthless

The National Transportation Safety Board had to “beg” to get an air traffic control specialist through backed-up TSA security lines, per NTSB Chair Jennifer Homendy. The specialist, who is needed on site in New York for the NTSB investigation, was waiting in the security line for three hours at an airport in Houston before the NTSB stepped in. #cmn3sjsr7000l3b6tknzi61il" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">cnn.com/us/live-news/l…

ICYMI: TSA officials tell us ICE has "no practical use" in airports. Just about everything TSA screeners do require extensive classroom and on-the-job training that ICE personnel don't have. Exact nature of ICE duties unclear, but they're unlikely to free up staff. Details👇

Every city dweller who posts creepshots of homeless people to whine about them is simply misdirecting energy that should be spent on a 7-year battle with their next door neighbour over the height of a fence

.@Stanford law school profs Joseph Bankman and Barbara Fried went on CNN yesterday to defend their son who is in prison for misappropriating funds at FTX. “I think that Sam was the victim of an out of control prosecution and I know that Trump himself feels he was,” Fried said.

i once worked with someone extremely wealthy and what stood out was their mindset and how they never complained about small inconveniences their coffee order was wrong? they just drank it. flight delayed? they pulled out a book. they had this quiet acceptance that some things simply aren’t worth the emotional energy while the rest of us stressed over what we couldn’t control, they had already shifted focus to what they could control. it wasn’t really about money solving problems… it was about having enough security that they didn’t feel the need to fight every battle... they could afford, mentally and emotionally, to let things go.

@devahaz @JerseyGeneral34 I looked it up. Federal law requires a business to accept cash for debts, but if they post a notice saying they do not accept cash, then you are agreeing to their contract by still proceeding to receive their service. All of that doesn’t matter if city ordinance bans Cashless.

This gentleman went to get a quick bite to eat, he ordered his sandwich the way he wanted it and when the employee rung him up, he tried to give the cash. The employee became annoyed and told him that due to a system problem, they couldn’t take cash and told him he would be throwing his sandwich away. The gentleman even said that since it was an issue on their end could he just get the sandwich for free since it’s not his fault they couldn’t accept cash and the employee became even more annoyed and said no. I have a feeling the employee was annoyed because he knew it was his fault he didn’t let the customer know beforehand what was going on, shouldn’t the employee just let him have the sandwich though?
