@latterdaylaura Have you tried singing all the verses of A Poor Wayfaring Man of Grief to knock her out? I've found that works pretty well on babies. (Can't seem to make it work for myself though, sadly.)

@BlackBlessedLDS I guess the real question is who instigated the kiss. If the toddler kisses mom on the lips (possibly because he's seen that's what daddy does) then that's fine. I personally wouldn't lean over and kiss a child on the lips. I'd aim for the forehead, noes or cheek. But that's me.

@jmillinmac ugh, I don't even kiss my own kids on the lips. Cheek, forehead, nose, top of the head, fingers, maybe even toes, but not lips. Husband is the only one who gets kissed on the lips.

I am happy to report that the rat who:
chewed my prickly pear,
ate all of my corn,
ate part of my one melon,
stole all of my tomatoes,
survived eating a crap ton of corn muffin mix loaded with baking soda,
got unstuck from the glue traps,
escaped a rat trap that fractured his skull so hard you could see his pulse in his forehead,
jumped out of the water bucket, and
survived being smacked with a bucket…
is finally truly and well dead.
His remains are interred in an ice cream bucket at the bottom of my garbage bin.

@MamaCAllen I agree. Though I might annoy my friends because whenever they start talking smack about their spouses I start bragging about what a wonderful husband I have.

The amount of people I know who do this is concerning. We had some friends for like 15 years and they talked bad about each other to my husband and I, not only privately, but in front of their spouse! We had a bit of a falling out a few years ago and it was the best thing for my sanity. Don't do this.

@ldsfilmguy The best thing i ever did for my marriage was not talk smack about my husband to anyone. I learned this early on. If i have a problem with him or what he’s done/not done, i talk to him and we work it out. Same from him. This shouldn’t be a novel concept.

Well, yes, they could claim the "other circumstances," but it won't get them out of jail free on everything, since they will be asked if they keep the law of chastity, which is defined as having s*xual relationships only with your legally/lawfully wedded spouse, according to God's law" (ie. between a man and a woman.)

@TaylorPetrey The irony is that the FP is frequently weaponized against same-sex marriage or homosexuality in general, yet it makes no mention of either one. It makes no mention of transgenderism, either. It’s most repeatedly invoked to say things it doesn’t actually say.
