Today QVPS celebrated our Reaching Forward Tutors. We started with an assembly where we enjoyed a presentation showing the growth in Reading from Sept to June. Our tutors were then treated to a delicious lunch. Thankyou TLDSB for this program! @QueenVic_PS @CurriculumTldsb

One of the most impactful moments was seeing this slide, while hearing Dr. Lane remind us to make the most of every minute. Seemingly small chunks of time rapidly add up (more exposures), or if we’re not careful, disappear into dust.

Today the amazing staff at @QueenVic_PS dove into their Van de Walle textbooks to read about different Tools of Assessment. Each team of educators were challenged to summarize the tool and think about if it would be helpful during their upcoming March S&S Unit. @CurriculumTldsb
